Web Design
Thanks for checking out my web design page. I am very much a “free spirit” when it comes to web design. I am currently very interested in designing themes and websites using “WordPress” (such as this one), although I may continue to design sites that are not WordPress based, from time to time.
From a personal standpoint, I like to take on projects that empower others… or which feel helpful to the world in some way. I like projects that do not have a hard deadline… and thus my prices are reasonable, starting at $100.00 for a simple website. I work on a “per project” pricing basis, rather than an hourly basis. I will consider trades also.
My vision at this time is to design, develop and then sell… websites that are beautiful, practical and serve a purpose which is helpful to an individual life… and/or to many lives… such as a site that offers information and a product or two that addresses a health problem… via natural healing . I also like to design websites for creative people and those dealing with “new age” or spiritual themes. Anything that values life interests me.
I like WordPress because it is automatically integrated with a database, which I find both practical and exciting to my imagination. It also means that it easily allows for the inclusion of a content management system. This means you can update the website yourself… without the need for a webmaster. How empowering is that?
I have used the program called “Dreamweaver”, in the past, to create websites for friends and a few clients. You can view some examples of my work below… both older designs and some newer WordPress based designs… as they are added. So far, I work alone… so most of the designing (artwork, layout, etc.), as well as coding and development is my own work… unless noted otherwise.
